Dr. Raghu Chunduru – A Life of Service, Science, and Spirituality
Dr. Raghu Chunduru began his journey of service at the young age of 14, driven by a deep desire to help others. This early passion for giving back to society has guided his life ever since.
He pursued higher education in the United States and earned his Ph.D. in Geophysics from The University of Texas at Austin in 1996. Over the next 25+ years, Dr. Raghu built a distinguished career in the oil and gas industry, working across three continents and traveling to more than 25 countries. His professional work includes several patents and numerous publications in respected international journals.
Alongside his scientific career, Dr. Raghu has remained deeply committed to spiritual and social service. In 2019, he founded Viswa Veda Parayana Brindam (VVPB)—a global nonprofit organization based in Houston, Texas. VVPB is dedicated to protecting, preserving, and promoting Sanatana Dharma, and is actively involved in supporting Vedic education and helping underprivileged tribal children.
Dr. Raghu is also a long-time volunteer and faculty member with the Art of Living Foundation, where he has taught over 100 stress management and wellness courses to people around the world.

Smt. Ganga Pidatala, born in a Sai family, is a Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas alumna (1984) and alumna of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Hyderabad. Guided by Bhagawan to start Bal Vikas in orphanages while still in school, she has since served as a Bal Vikas Guru Trainer and as State Coordinator – Education Wing, Telangana. She also serves on the councils of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Hyderabad, and Sri Sathya Sai Gurukula Vidya Niketan, Bejjanki.
For nearly four decades, she has been deeply involved in Bal Vikas, seva, and educare activities, including Narayana Seva in Mehdipatnam for over 51 years and the Educare program in Telangana State schools. She continues to nurture underprivileged children through Sri Sathya Sai Krupa – Home for Boys and remains active in bhajans, medical camps, and summer spiritual classes, while also working professionally as a lecturer in Mathematics.
